Accepts short fiction in the 1632, Time Spike, and Alexander Inheritance universes, including serials up to a hard 17,500-word total limit. There is no minimum; the magazine prefers short stories, generally under 7,500 words, and may serialize longer novelettes. Submit through Baen’s Bar or email submissions(at)1632andBeyond.com.
The FAQ says the magazine accepts 1632 nonfiction, but gives no further submission requirements or word limits.
