Accepts fiction of any length, from flash fiction through novelette, in genres including historical fiction, alternative history, science fiction, romance, horror, and other forms; fan fiction set in someone else’s copyrighted universe or franchise is excluded. Authors must be academics broadly defined, such as people with a PhD or those working as educators or researchers in higher education.
