Bloodletter is a biannual digital magazine seeking intense, feminist, experiential writing about expansive horror and related themes.

Open to: Submitters must identify as women, trans, and/or non-binary; past contributors must wait one calendar year (two submission cycles) before submitting again.

All forms of writing are welcome, including full articles and pitches, for the Issue Eight theme “Omen.” Length and style should suit the piece; previously unpublished work only. The free submission window runs September 22–October 13, followed by a $3 window from October 14–November 3, 2026. Selected pieces will be published in March 2027.
