November theme: Dark Academia/Horror. Submissions are open October 1-20, 2026. The story needs a speculative or paranormal element and may include cults, secret societies, morally complicated characters, betrayals, college campuses, ghosts, monsters, and folklore.

December theme: Christmas Ghost Stories. Submissions are open November 1-20, 2026. Submissions should reference ghosts prominently or include a spirit and should juxtapose holiday warmth with the grief, despair, or pain of a ghost story.

October theme: Ghost Hunting. Submissions are open September 1-20, 2026. Stories may concern technical ghost hunting or personal searches for spirits, with creepy settings, unusual equipment, and ghosts that feel real.
