Submissions are open to SFF and weird fiction, including science fiction, fantasy, speculative horror, and flash; the word limit is 5,000 words, with a preferred range of 1,000–4,000 words. Pay is 8¢ per word for original fiction. The annual schedule has limited-demographic windows in April, July, October, and January; general windows in May, August, November, and February; and closures in June, September, December, and March.

Submissions are open to science fiction, fantasy, speculative horror, and other SFF or weird poetry, including complex fixed forms and free verse. Up to five poems must be submitted in one file. Pay is $20 per original poem. The annual schedule has limited-demographic windows in April, July, October, and January; general windows in May, August, November, and February; and closures in June, September, December, and March.

Nonfiction submissions are currently closed and will not reopen quite yet, with reopening hoped for in the coming months. The magazine seeks articles on politics, pop culture, science, academic subjects, and unexpected humorous or interesting angles. The word limit is 1,000 words, and pay is 8¢ per word for original nonfiction.
