Accepts previously unpublished short stories of deindustrial fiction, set on a real-world Earth and addressing resource depletion, environmental damage, and the limits of mitigation. Stories may include plausible metaphysical, supernatural, or paranormal elements; spacefaring science fiction, conventional dystopias, and sudden postapocalyptic collapse are generally unsuitable. No hard word minimum or maximum, but stories over 10,000 words are unlikely to be published; outstanding novella-length stories may be serialized.
