Querencia Press

Quarterly anthologies are unthemed and accept submissions from March 15 through April 20; submissions outside the window roll into the next anthology period. Anthology submissions are non-paying, and there is no submission fee.

Open to: Work must be created only by children under 12; a parent or guardian must submit in collaboration with the contributor.

Special anthology call for writing by children under 12 for middle-grade/YA readers; parents or guardians must submit collaboratively, and the submission cap is 150.

Manuscript submissions are currently closed and will reopen in 2026. The press seeks chapbooks and full-length fiction manuscripts in any genre; prose manuscripts require at least 7,000 words, with no maximum word count. Submissions close each November.
