Fiction is always open, but the magazine reads during seasonal two-month periods. Stories may be up to 6,000 words; reprints are accepted, and submissions must not be AI-generated or AI-assisted.
Nonfiction and articles are always open, but the magazine reads during seasonal two-month periods. Pieces may be up to 6,000 words; reprints are accepted, and submissions must not be AI-generated or AI-assisted.
Plays and screenplays are accepted at up to 10–20 pages. Submissions must be DOC or DOCX, and must not be AI-generated or AI-assisted.
Spoken-word audio submissions may be up to 10 minutes. Previously recorded submissions are accepted if each recording begins with the poet’s name and states that it is a unique recording for Samjoko Magazine; no links are accepted.
Submit 1–5 poems in one DOCX, with three to fifty lines per poem; the magazine selects up to three poems. Reprints are accepted, and submissions must not be AI-generated or AI-assisted.
