Open to original short stories of 1,500 to 8,500 words featuring fantasy elements in pre-industrial settings, including historical or pseudo-historical settings before 1800. Contemporary urban fantasy and steampunk are not wanted; action and overt magic are welcome but not required. The magazine accepts simultaneous and multiple submissions with stated restrictions.
