Submissions are closed after the Issue Twelve window; submissions for Issue Thirteen will open in late October 2026. Tolka publishes personal essay, memoir, reportage, travel writing, autofiction, and related nonfiction. Work should be previously unpublished, 1,000–3,000 words, and AI-generated work is not accepted unless explicitly created for artistic purposes and clearly framed as such.
