Open to: Contributors' work must be rooted in reverence for and service to the living earth, its plants, and its people, and all contributions must accord with the journal's anti-racist, decolonial, anti-ableist, trans-positive, anti-heteronormative, anti-classist, feminist, anti-patriarchal, and related stated principles.
Issue Five seeks writing about medicinal plants and grassroots or folk herbalism, including stories, reflections, histories, research, and plant conversations; submissions may be proposals or first drafts and must not exceed 4,500 words including references. Deadline: October 15, 2026.
