Submission calls
General submissions are free and accepted February 15-April 1 and September 15-November 1; submit up to three pieces with 6,000 words maximum across pieces. The journal also accepts fiction for the fee-based Adroit Prizes, Editors Prizes, and Scholars opportunities, which have separate eligibility requirements and windows.
General creative nonfiction submissions are free and accepted February 15-April 1 and September 15-November 1; submit up to three pieces with 6,000 words maximum across pieces. Creative nonfiction is also accepted for the fee-based Adroit Prizes and Scholars opportunities.
Open to: Translations must have publication rights secured, and self-translations are not accepted.
