Submissions open at 1500 UTC on the first of every other month—February, April, June, August, October, and December—and remain open until the 5th or until the 300-submission cap is reached. Fiction is 1,000–6,000 words. Stories should offer surprise and wonder; science fiction, fantasy, speculative, surreal, and realist stories are welcome. One story per submission period; prior contributors must wait six months. Pays $0.08 per word for originals and $0.01 per word for reprints.
