Traditional short stories or memoirs up to 3,000 words; no young-adult, romance, erotica, fantasy, sci-fi, mystery/suspense, historical fiction, or conceptual writing. Literary fiction only.

flashLiteraryPays: $5 per accepted flash (≤1,000 words)

Flash fiction or nonfiction up to 1,000 words; no speculative genres or young-adult, romance, erotica, etc. Literary flash only.

nonfictionPays: $10 per accepted memoir (≤3,000 words); $15 per book review, craft essay, or interview

Personal essays, memoirs (≤3,000 words), book/chapbook reviews, craft essays (proposal/sample required), semi-regular columns (proposal/sample required), and author interviews (proposal/sample required).
