Accepts flash fiction/nonfiction up to 1,000 words for $5, traditional short stories up to 3,000 words for $10, and serial fiction or nonfiction up to 6,000 words in up to three installments for $10 per installment. Genres not actively sought include fantasy, sci-fi, mystery/suspense, romance, young adult, and historical fiction. Payment is issued by paper check in the U.S. or supported digital and wire-transfer methods.
Accepts personal essays, flash fiction/nonfiction up to 1,000 words, memoirs up to 3,000 words, and serial fiction or nonfiction up to 6,000 words in up to three installments for $10 per installment. Also considers book reviews, craft essays, interviews, and pitches. Genres not actively sought include fantasy, sci-fi, mystery/suspense, romance, young adult, and historical fiction.
Accepts book/chapbook reviews for $15. Craft essays, semi-regular columns, author interviews, and galleries require a proposal and sample; serials and pitches should include a project summary, sample, preferred publication month, and links. The submission window ends January 1, 2027 at 5:00 AM.
