Year-round submissions are welcome for original literary speculative fiction, including science fiction, fantasy, horror, genre blends, and boundary-pushing stories. Short fiction must be 1,000 to 5,000 words; slight variations are acceptable. Reprints and translations are not considered.

Year-round submissions welcome for craft essays, creative nonfiction, personal essays, memoirs, and reportage. Topics may include technology, science, magic, the occult, and the strange; no book reviews, criticism, top-ten lists, or interview pitches.
