Currently closed. Accepts unpublished speculative fiction, including science fiction, fantasy, horror, and subgenres. Maximum 10,000 words for non-subscribers and non-Australian/New Zealand authors, or 20,000 words for subscribers and Australian/New Zealand authors. Pays 1 cent AUD per word, with AUD$20 minimum and AUD$100 maximum per piece; flash fiction under 1,000 words pays AUD$10.

nonfictionScience FictionFantasyHorror

Currently closed. Seeks broad-interest articles about speculative genres and writers, weird or real science, weird or straight history, convention reports, fads, and geekdom; articles should be under 5,000 words, with 3,000 words described as the sweet spot. Pays AUD$10 per article.

poetryScience FictionFantasyHorror

Currently closed. Accepts unpublished speculative poetry, including science fiction, fantasy, horror, and related subgenres. Poems must be no more than two pages in proper manuscript format. Pays AUD$10 per piece.
