Guest book reviews; 600-900 words; focus on literary/contemporary fiction, short story collections, poetry, experimental nonfiction, and graphic novels; 1-2 reviews accepted per month; submit completed reviews or pitches.
Aniko Magazine publishes poetry, flash fiction, short stories, and creative nonfiction by writers from Australia and around the world; 10-15 original, unpublished pieces per issue responding to a theme; also accepts experimental work.
2025 Summer Flash Fiction Competition; theme: Touch; word limit: 100 words (not including title); entries open 17 January – 14 February 2025; up to two entries per person; only for writers based in Australia and Aotearoa/New Zealand.
