Open to: No YA or middle-grade novels, no fan fiction, and no artificial-intelligence-created or enabled work; submit no more than one manuscript at a time.

Novels and story collections of 125–400 pages, or short story manuscripts of 125–250 pages. Genre fiction with a heavy literary bent is considered; no YA, middle-grade, or fan fiction. A $15 submission fee applies.

Creative nonfiction manuscripts, including essay collections, memoir, and hybrids, of 125–400 pages. Previously published essays collected as a book are not considered.

Children's picture and board book manuscripts are accepted; picture books should be 30–34 pages. Artwork may be submitted with the text but is not required; no YA.

Poetry has one yearly reading period running from the beginning of February through the end of April. A $15 submission fee applies.
