Open submissions for nonfiction, book reviews, interviews, critiques, and braided essays, generally 1,000–3,000 words, though the magazine says this is not a hard rule. Hybrid, experimental, and cross-genre work is welcome.
Open submissions for 1–5 original poems; titles are preferred, translations are welcome, and hybrid, experimental, and cross-genre work is accepted. The magazine especially welcomes political, ecopoetry, love, body, feminist, and queer poetry, but does not want COVID/quarantine poems or light verse and is wary of alternating rhyme schemes.
