Open to: Anyone may submit except Butler employees, current Butler students, and anyone affiliated with Butler's MFA program.

Fiction submissions may be up to 7,500 words in one document; the magazine also welcomes flash fiction of 500 words or less. Submissions are open September 1-November 30 and January 1-March 31; responses usually arrive by the end of May.

Creative nonfiction submissions should be no more than 7,500 words; the magazine is interested in micro essays of 300 words or less and speculative CNF. Submissions are open September 1-November 30 and January 1-March 31; responses usually arrive by the end of May.
