Brick accepts only finished, polished literary nonfiction, including essays, reviews, interviews, belle lettres, memoir, translations, and other explorations of nonfiction form. There is no formal word limit, but the preferred range is 1,000–5,000 words. Submissions are open October 1–31 and April 1–30; the magazine pays $65–$720 depending on length.
