Bridge seeks literary fiction, generally 2,000–5,000 words, though slightly longer pieces may be considered when length serves the story. Translations are accepted only with documented rights. Bridge Books accepts book-length literary fiction, poetry collections, criticism, history, theory, essays, and related arts writing for Bridge Books and StepSister Press. Hurm Editions is not accepting open submissions; it invites queries by email and will announce future calls through its mailing list.
