Nonfiction is always open for submissions. Articles must address information helpful or instructional for writers (craft, how-tos, reviews of writing books or member-authored books, motivational pieces, etc.). 500-2,000 words.
Poetry is always open for submissions. Up to 3 poems per email; style and form open except concrete poems not accepted; lines over 45 characters may wrap; poems over 40 lines may be rejected or offered online-only. No erotica, explicit violence, or sex; language should be tasteful.
Fiction is temporarily closed and will reopen October 15, 2026, for stories to be published in all issues of 2027. Any genre of short fiction is welcome, including science fiction, fantasy, horror, mystery, and all sub-genres; mainstream/literary stories considered if out of the ordinary; humor and
