Cherry Tree is a print literary magazine publishing poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction with a focus on inventive, image-rich, and sonically adventurous work, including a 'Literary Shade' section for subversive critique.

Open to: Not open to current Washington College students or graduates from the past 4 years.

Submit up to 5 flash prose pieces or up to 20 total pages of prose in a single file; shorter, well-voiced prose preferred; all fiction considered for 'Literary Shade' section. Open August 1–October 1 annually.
