Flash fiction is accepted year-round from emerging or established authors, including international writers, for work up to 1,000 words.
Flash creative nonfiction is accepted year-round from emerging or established authors, including international writers, for work up to 1,000 words.
Creative nonfiction is accepted year-round from emerging or established authors, including international writers, for work up to 6,000 words.
CRAFT accepts polished craft and critical essays concerning the craft of fiction or creative nonfiction, ranging from 1,500 to 2,500 words. Personal essays and critical work about poetry are not accepted in this category.
CRAFT accepts completed interviews or pitches for conversations with fiction and creative nonfiction writers focused on the craft of writing; pitches should include potential topics and at least six questions.
