The magazine tends not to publish work that is too dark, overtly fantastic, or spiritual. Deadlines are generally December 1 for spring, March 1 for summer, June 1 for fall, and September 1 for winter; future themes include Sister Witch, Sorceress, Rain, Cabinet of Curiosities, and Coven.
