Fiction submissions up to 2500 words, accepted twice a year in Spring and Autumn; work should challenge or re-imagine the status quo and can be literary or genre; no simultaneous submissions; unpublished work only.
Essay submissions up to 2500 words, accepted twice a year in Spring and Autumn; no simultaneous submissions; unpublished work only. Critical essays and reviews on Scottish books may be commissioned separately and are paid.
