HEXFILED SF Magazine

Short fiction of 1,000–10,000 words and novelettes of 10,001–17,500 words. HEXFILED seeks science fiction and speculative fiction, especially biological SF, ecological futures, post-human consciousness, weird and slipstream fiction, military SF, and thoughtfully imagined science. Speculative nonfiction and creative essays of 500–5,000 words engaging with biological, artificial, or speculative themes as genuine intellectual inquiry; hybrid and lyric forms are welcome. Submissions are open on a rolling basis.

The Parallel Biome seeks archival artifacts such as field reports, intercepted transmissions, recovered documents, technical schematics, medical records, and surveillance transcripts from parallel timelines. Entries must read like recovered documentation rather than traditional narrative fiction and should be 1,000–3,000 words. Submit by email with “PARALLEL BIOME” in the subject line.

Speculative poetry of any length, with no more than five poems per submission. Submissions are open on a rolling basis.
