The magazine seeks distinctive, personal, thoughtful, playful writing about film, television, and moving-image media, including personal and non-academic essays, conversations, interviews, round-ups, experimental pieces, on-the-ground pieces, film diaries, anniversary pieces, and related cultural topics. Completed pieces are preferred and must be no more than 1,000 words; pitches are also accepted. Submissions are reviewed at the end of the submission period. Submissions must be previously unpublished unless solicited, and AI-generated content is not accepted.
