General submissions are open January 1-March 31 and October 1-October 31. Short fiction is 1,001-7,500 words; stories around 4,000-5,000 words are more likely to be accepted, and literary stories with genre elements are welcome.
The Raleigh Review Flash Fiction Prize is open October 1-October 31 every year. Works of flash fiction are up to 1,000 words.
General submissions are open January 1-March 31 and July 1-October 31; send up to five poems in one file. The magazine seeks emotionally and intellectually complex poetry, including lyric and narrative work.
