Open to: Students enrolled in any low-residency program at UNR-LT cannot submit; translations of unoriginal work are not accepted.

Fiction for Spring 2027 (Vol. 42); original fiction up to 5,000 words, including flash fiction, with multiple flash pieces allowed if the total is no more than 5,000 words. The magazine typically does not accept genre fiction. Submissions end December 2, 2026 at 8:00 AM.

Open to: Students enrolled in any low-residency program at UNR-LT cannot submit; translations of unoriginal work are not accepted.

Non-Fiction for Spring 2027 (Vol. 42); original creative literary nonfiction under 4,000 words, including flash CNF, with multiple flash pieces allowed if the total is no more than 4,000 words. Submissions end December 2, 2026 at 8:00 AM.
