Creative writing submissions are accepted on a rolling basis. Submit one short story or creative essay not exceeding 3,000 words; translations and reprints are welcome under the stated conditions.

Spark Reviews are critical reviews of books, poems, plays, films, video games, or other creative expression, with proposals accepted anytime throughout the year. Individual proposals must not exceed two sentences; reviews are 1,500 to 3,000 words. The 2024 final proposal deadline was September 30, after which proposals move to the next cycle.

Creative writing submissions are accepted on a rolling basis. Submit up to three poems of 50 lines maximum each, or prose poems of up to 500 words each; translations and reprints are welcome under the stated conditions.
Academic articles are peer-reviewed and may be research articles, subject reviews, or opinion pieces; articles may be up to 5,000 words, with abstracts of no more than 250 words. The deadline for academic abstracts has passed.
