Literary fiction of any length, from short shorts to novellas and self-contained novel excerpts; $1,000 for stories, $500 for short shorts; submit one story per reading period; simultaneous submissions allowed; no reprints.
Essays of any length, including translations and self-contained excerpts; $1,000 per essay; submit one essay per reading period; simultaneous submissions allowed; no reprints.
Up to four poems per submission; $100 per poem; no poetry submissions will be read this spring; poets published in the past two issues should refrain from submitting.
