Regular submissions are temporarily closed while the magazine builds its next issues, but Timely and JOY submissions are always open. Flash fiction may be submitted with creative nonfiction, up to 2 pieces, maximum 1,000 words each, with 800 or fewer especially encouraged. Original, previously unpublished, non-AI work is required; simultaneous submissions are welcome.
