The September 15–30, 2025 open reading period sought new and previously unpublished boundary-pushing, innovative writing, including experimental fiction. Writing submissions were limited to a maximum of 6 pages in a Word document; selected submissions would receive a response by early December.
The September 15–30, 2025 open reading period sought personal or poetic essays, creative nonfiction, hybrid forms, and pitches for long-form critical essays of 1,500–2,500 words. Writing submissions were limited to a maximum of 6 pages; selected submissions would receive a response by early December.
The September 15–30, 2025 open reading period also invited pitches for reviews of recent or forthcoming literary or art books (500 words) and feature interviews with authors and artists. Pitches required a paragraph and 1–2 relevant writing samples; selected submissions would receive a response by early December.
