fictionLiteraryPays: $500 - $1,000 for short stories

Short fiction; no word limit; attach as Word doc or PDF titled 'lastname_firstname.'

nonfictionPays: $2,000 for essays

Longform essays and cultural criticism; submit a two- to four-paragraph pitch (no draft submissions); sharp, surprising interventions; socially engaged criticism; class-sensitive analysis; no personal essays or term papers.

otherPays: $25 for Mentions

Mentions: 150-word reviews of books/films/TV/art/ephemera; 1-4 sentences; propose by email with draft and relevant clips.

poetryPays: $150 for poems

Up to six poems in a single Word doc or PDF titled 'lastname_firstname.'
