Open to: Current UNO MFA students and recent (within the last 3 years) UNO MFA graduates/affiliates are not eligible.

Short fiction submissions are open; up to 5,000 words, one story per submission. $4 fee per submission. Payment: $60 per accepted story for seasonal issues. 'We want polished, confident, well-developed stories.'

Flash fiction and flash CNF submissions are open; flash is 400-1,000 words, micro is max 400 words. One piece per submission. $2.50 fee per submission. Payment: $60 for seasonal issues, $25 for Micro Monday features. 'Flash should yield quick transformations and revelations.'

Short nonfiction (creative nonfiction/essays) submissions are open; up to 5,000 words, one essay per submission. $4 fee per submission. Payment: $60 per accepted essay for seasonal issues. 'We want essays that get our minds working and hearts thumping.'

Open to: Current UNO MFA students and recent (within the last 3 years) UNO MFA graduates/affiliates are not eligible.

Poetry submissions are open; send up to 5 poems (max 10 pages total) per submission, no length limit per poem. $4 fee per submission. Payment: $60 per accepted poem for seasonal issues. 'We are interested in work that pushes boundaries, both in content and form.'
