The Masters Review Short Story Award for New Writers is a bi-annual contest recognizing outstanding unpublished fiction or narrative nonfiction by emerging writers, offering publication, agency review, and cash prizes.

Response time info: Every submission will receive a response by the end of December 2026. The winners will be announced by the end of January 2027.
