Open to: Canadian citizens, current residents living in Canada (including landed immigrants, refugees, or students), or members of the First Nations, Inuit, or Métis peoples
Regular submissions are accepted February 1-April 30 and July 1-September 30, with responses by the end of June or the end of January of the following year. One piece per author per genre per calendar year; maximum one fiction piece per submission. No formal length restriction, but fiction is typically 2,500-5,000 words and rarely over 6,000 words.
