Literary short stories with polished craft; naturalistic, experimental, surreal, comical, or other styles are welcome, but genre fiction such as science fiction, fantasy, romance, and crime is not accepted. Literary flash fiction in polished styles including naturalistic, experimental, surreal, or comical writing; genre fiction such as science fiction, fantasy, romance, and crime is not accepted. Narrative poems, haiku, haibun, prose poetry, and fresh modern takes on formal forms; free verse and contemporary forms are preferred.
