Submissions are accepted January 1-31, 2026. Tiferet seeks well-written, imaginative stories engaging people in a small pocket of humanity; spiritual themes are interpreted broadly, and religious-oriented stories or sermons presented as stories are not necessarily desired. Fiction must be previously unpublished and limited to 12 pages or 3,000 words.
Submissions are accepted January 1-31, 2026. Tiferet favors essays and interviews about personal experiences of grappling with the invisible, spiritual traditions, different cultures, and unique journeys. Nonfiction must be previously unpublished and limited to 12 pages or 3,000 words.
Poetry submissions are not currently accepted; the journal seeks highly crafted poems with striking imagery, strong sonic impression, and clear expression of the human spirit, while excluding self-consciously religious poetry.
