Open to: Reviews, interviews, and profiles must focus on published ESL writers or their work.

In Conversation accepts reviews, interviews, profiles, and other texts on ESL writing. Submit one piece of 700–1,500 words; submissions are currently open. Contact the editors to propose an idea and arrange the submission process.

fictionLiterary

Original, previously unpublished short stories by ESL writers, 1,000–4,000 words; submissions are accepted only during an open call. Tint does not accept translations or AI-generated or AI-modified texts.

flashLiterary

Original, previously unpublished flash fiction or flash nonfiction by ESL writers, up to 600 words; submissions are accepted only during an open call. Tint does not accept translations or AI-generated or AI-modified texts.

nonfictionLiterary

Original, previously unpublished creative nonfiction, including personal essays, by ESL writers, 1,000–4,000 words; submissions are accepted only during an open call. Tint does not accept translations or AI-generated or AI-modified texts.

poetryLiterary

One original, previously unpublished poem by an ESL writer, no more than four C4, A4, or Letter pages; submissions are accepted only during an open call. Tint does not accept translations or AI-generated or AI-modified texts.
