Year's Best Canadian Fantasy and Science Fiction Anthology Series

Volume Four is currently closed; Volume Five, the best of 2026, will open in Fall 2026. Seeks fantasy and science fiction fiction first published in 2025 for Volume Four, in standard manuscript format as DOC, DOCX, or RTF via Google Form. Fiction is typically 1,500–7,500 words; under 1,200 or over 9,000 words is a hard sell. Reprints only; English-language works, including translations from French sought by the editor. Authors must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or Canadians living abroad. Selected fiction receives 0.01 CAD per word for non-exclusive world English reprint rights.

Poems may be any length, though very short poems such as haiku are a hard sell. Reprints only; English-language works, including translations from French sought by the editor. Authors must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or Canadians living abroad. Selected poetry receives a $10 CAD reprint fee.
