Up to 3 flash pieces of no more than 1,000 words each (brevity preferred); any genre or style. Submission windows: Winter Issue (Feb 14, open Sep 30-Dec 31), Spring Issue (Jun 9, open Feb 22-May 1), Fall Issue (Oct 30, open Jun 30-Sep 30).
Creative nonfiction can include personal, research, or lyric essays as well as memoirs; up to 3 flash pieces of no more than 1,000 words each. Submission windows: Winter Issue (Feb 14, open Sep 30-Dec 31), Spring Issue (Jun 9, open Feb 22-May 1), Fall Issue (Oct 30, open Jun 30-Sep 30).
