Open to original unpublished, character-driven fiction with a story and character arc and an ending; stories must previously have been rejected by at least three other markets, whose names must be listed in the cover letter. Humorous science fiction is especially welcome; fantasy is a hard sell. Word count: 1,000–5,000 words. No simultaneous or multiple submissions, and no reprints.
